Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using BatchPrep, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the application.
Description of Service
BatchPrep is a meal prep planning application for iOS. It allows you to browse recipes, plan weekly meals, generate shopping lists, and track your pantry. All data is stored locally on your device.
Not Nutritional Advice
BatchPrep is a planning tool, not a nutritionist. It does not provide medical advice, dietary recommendations, or personalized nutrition plans.
- Calorie and nutrition information is provided for general informational purposes only.
- Always consult a healthcare provider or registered dietitian for dietary advice.
- Nutritional values are estimates based on recipe ingredients and may not be accurate for your specific preparations.
- If you have food allergies, always verify ingredients independently.
Subscription Tiers
- Free: All 209 recipes, weekly meal planning, shopping list generation, basic nutrition info.
- Pro ($2.99/mo, $19.99/yr, or $69.99 lifetime): URL recipe import, leftover tracking, budget tracking, shopping list sharing, household mode (1-6 people), full nutrition breakdown, plan history.
Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple — we do not collect or store payment information. Subscription management (cancellation, renewal, refunds) is handled through your Apple ID account settings. Pricing and features may change; active subscriptions will be honored at their current terms until renewal.
Your Data
- All meal planning data is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to it.
- You are responsible for backing up your data. Deleting the app permanently deletes all data.
- We cannot recover lost data because we never had it.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application.
- Use the application for any illegal purpose.
- Redistribute or resell the application.
- Attempt to circumvent subscription tier restrictions.
Intellectual Property
BatchPrep and its content, features, and functionality are owned by BatchPrep and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The BatchPrep name and logo are trademarks. Built-in recipes are provided for personal use only.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BatchPrep and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the application.
BatchPrep is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the application in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not responsible for:
- Inaccurate nutritional information or recipe instructions.
- Food allergies or adverse reactions to recipes.
- Dietary decisions made based on information displayed in the app.
- Data loss resulting from deleting the app or device failure.
Termination
You may stop using BatchPrep at any time by deleting the app. Since we don't have accounts or user data, there is nothing to terminate on our end. Active subscriptions can be cancelled through your Apple ID settings.
Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use of BatchPrep after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
